The Crowd Did More Singing Than the Band

I was excited to finally see The Black Dahlia Murder after many years. However, I was left feeling somewhat let down. The first three songs were impressive, but then Randy Owen made the odd decision to pass the microphone to the crowd for most of the remaining songs. The lack of interaction between band members was evident, and the minimal lighting and absence of a projection show were disappointing. The concert lacked energy, and it felt like the crowd did most of the work. It's not just about the music – a show should be entertaining too. The worn-out state of Freedom Hall added to the disappointing experience. Bands should strive to provide a memorable performance, not just cash in on their fans.
